Unfortunately, diabetes is increasingly common in our environment, being currently the leading cause of blindness worldwide.

As we know, there are alterations in the movement of all body organs, as well as the eye, affecting particularly the retina.

Since in the early stages of the disease in the eye, yet is asymptomatic and has no complaints all diabetics should be evaluated by the ophthalmologist at least once a year.

Diabetic Retinopathy

Studies angiography (retinal fluorangiography) that helps us evaluate the circulation of the retina and the damage, important data for more specific treatment.
