Studios & Diagnostics

We have highly specific diagnostic testing performed in our clinic, which helps us in performing a profound evaluation and the most advanced treatments to attend the most diverse eye disease:

• Fluorescein enhanced retinal angiograpy: helps evaluate retinal disease, such as diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration and vascular disease of the eye.

• Automated perimetry (visual field analysis): evaluation for glaucoma and neurological disease

• Corneal topography: Evaluation of corneal surface, helping us determine whether a person is candidate for refractive surgery (eliminate the need for prescription glasses).

• Pachimetry:  measures corneal thickness, necessary as well in précising safety of refractive surgery.

• Argon laser: retinal photocoagulation, used to treat a number of retinal diseases.

• YAG laser: specific treatment of several diseases and aye conditions, such as “cleaning” intraocular lenses after cataract surgery.

• Ocular ultrasound: allows visualization of eye’s internal structures when something precludes it, therefore is important part in the evaluation prior to cataract surgery.

We are 100ft from San Ysidro border crossing.  If walking, follow the sidewalk past the yellow cab station, across the street and you will find us in SIMNSA building.

If by car, take the second exit (before you go up the bridge), you will see our sign, just past the yellow cab station.  Park in the front of the building.
